Dom Bailey - 2024 Combo Guard - John Marshall High School

6'2 combo guard Dom 'Clamp' Bailey set to lead John Marshall High's backcourt

Dom ‘Clamp’ Bailey is an unsigned senior combo guard with a lot to prove with one of the top public schools in the nation in John Marshall High School in Richmond this season. He’s a guard who can operate in a variety of ways and plays with a ton of energy on the defensive end with his pesky ability to force turnovers and find offense right away.

Bailey averaged 9.0 points, 4.6 assists, 3.8 steals and 3.4 rebounds per game for the undefeated Judges’ in 2022-23 as they took home another state title in VA’s Division 2 section. He shot 50 percent from the field and 37 percent from deep on the year while operating in their backcourt as a key role player.

He’s an efficient operator in the halfcourt who doesn’t force things with his ballhandling ability. He can make paint touches with ease and make an impact with his underrated length and IQ off the bounce. He’s a backcourt prospect who plays with a high motor with his confidence and 'nose for the ball’ mentality. As more college programs get eyes on him, look for his stock to continue to grow in VA’s 2024 class given his winning pedigree and defensive edge.
