Levin Smith - 7'0 Stretch Forward/Center - Blue Ridge School

Levin Smith will be one of a few names for college programs to know with the highly-regarded Blue Ridge School out of Virginia this upcoming season. Smith is an impressive big man at 7-foot who’s a sniper on the perimeter, a creator for others and a terror defensively with his length.

He’s due for a breakout senior campaign after posting 1.9 ppg and 2.2 rpg in the rotation as a junior in 2022-23. His frame is starting to fill out and he’s starting to find his confidence on the floor as an all-around presence.

Smith had himself a productive grassroots season this past spring/summer with Team Loaded 757 while showcasing his talents as a sharpshooter from deep and a finisher around the rim in the painted area. He showed he could defend a number of different roles and alter shots with his mobility and length. On the rebounding front, he’s got gloves for hands and doesn’t lose many battles on the boards given his size.

He’s got a nice IQ for finding other shooters when he’s on the perimeter and poses as quite the option in the pick-and-roll/pop game given his skill set. He’s a matchup problem in the making as he heads into his final year of high school ball and continues to draw interest from a number of colleges across all divisions. His recruitment remains wide open heading into the 2023-23 season.
