Peter Quaye - 2024 Hybrid Forward - BeThe1 Prep

Peter Quaye is an unsigned senior hybrid-forward prospect at 6-foot-7 in the 2024 class in the state of Virginia who’s due for a big senior season at BeThe1 Prep in Manassas. He’s got some versatility in his wheelhouse given his ability to attack the basket from the perimeter, handle the ball and knock down shots in the midrange. He’s coming off a productive grassroots season with Virginia Havoc where he was able to showcase his ability to be a terror in the painted area.

His biggest asset is his ability to rebound the basketball and battle for boards in the painted area. He’s a double-double machine in the making as he enters his final season of high school ball. When rebounds are near him, it’s rarely ever a losing battle for him.

He’s got a nice back-to-the-basket game which allows him to utilize his length and strong frame to maneuver for buckets in the paint. He’s a physically imposing force who knows how to use his strength to get buckets. When the ball isn’t in his hands, he’s locating the ball on the rim and positioning himself to make his presence felt on the offensive glass. He’s powerful, smart and skilled in the frontcourt and has the potential to boost any rotation on the next level with what he can do.

As he expands his game to the perimeter and shows off his ability to make plays for others and knock down shots in space, look for his recruitment to continue to grow in VA’s 2024 class with his skill set.
